Sarah Bäckman is a worldwide arm-wrestling star. Starting at the tender age of fourteen, Bäckman is an 11-time Swedish Arm Wrestling Champion, an 8-time European Arm Wrestling Champion, and is an 8-time World Arm Wrestling Champion. Bäckman has stated her inspiration to start arm-wrestling was when she beat not just students, but teachers as well, in arm-wrestling contests. She has stated in interviews that she was a very unhealthy child, and devoting herself to arm-wrestling has helped her become dedicated to fitness. In March 2013, Bäckman signed a developmental contract, and in November she reported to NXT at the WWE Performance Center in Florida. Now wrestling under the name Shara, Bäckman is ready to take the wrestling world by storm.
